This little flower was tiny, but so illuminating!

This is the 2nd attempt at a lamp shade... we seem to have found good settings, though holding the lampshades is a bit trickier, especially if they aren't cylindrical.

Finally finished and all for me!

Nucleus of a lamp shade

This 12" lampshade is made in soft pink silk dupion with a gold diamante buckle and gold lining

Handmade by Zia at the old lamp shed

This mini lampshade was created by making a white paper template to fit this lampshade and then stamping the Asian scene as seen above. Pastels were used to color the images and a spray sealer was applied to lock in the colors. The finished artwork and trim was attached using a combination of spray adhesive and red line tape. All the rubber stamps used in this project are by 100 Proof Press.

these lampshade are made exclusively at the old lamp shed.

I scanned this at 2400dpi (took about 25min and created a 65Mb file!) just to see the DOF. The shade is about 8 inches high. Quite a bit of distortion at the top end which is round. Used an Epson perfection V500 Photo scanner.

Made at a Hope and Elvis workshop. May never buy another shade!
