Trying out the recently acquired mirrorless with some street photography.

Apologies to all vegans and to those fasting for Easter.

Jasper in our family room at the ready with Little Lambchop. Mom's up in the kitchen doing something or other and the play doesn't begin until both humans are engaged.

Lambchop - Give It

Región de Los Lagos, Chile central.

I was watering the garden last night, and spotted a few clouds forming in a clear blue sky, I quickly picked up the gear and rushed down to Ogmore by Sea , my favourite high tide location. There were two other photographers there on my favourite spot, so I wandered along the cliffs and decided the breaking waves would make a nice shot. It was wet where I was standing, so I knew there was a chance of some spray. This one covered me from head to foot, I was wonderfully refreshed in the warm evening. Luckily I protected my lens before I got drenched. It was only later i spotted the amazing neon blue tint, which must be due to the recent bioluminescence organisms. Motion activates them to glow. This is the Bristol Channel after all, where the normal water colour is brown :)) Serendipity and a soaking, what could be better. My Blue Wave is obvious and is by Lambchop.

Little Lamb Chop is still a favorite toy. Jasper asked her to join him for a lovely evening in the Ottoman Empire.

Della always enjoys seeing Lambchop when we visit our condo up North. Here she is taking a rest with her buddy after a hike in the woods. Always good to have someone to rest your chin on.

HSS …… Haven’t been in stores much in the last 20 months, so a trip to the hardware store to get a special light bulb so our fiber optic tree would work was a real treat!! So, yes, I was tickled to find LambChop in the aisle on the way to the register— you know the one where they stock things you didn’t know you wanted but now just have to buy!! No, I didn’t

Another fun test capture of the new lens and bounce flash unit for my Sony camera. This here is our nearly 15 year old schnoodle and his baby lambchop.

Sometimes when I look at Ranger now I see Cassie. He (like so many of us) has greyed a lot the last few years...

Last night after dinner we played a little hide and seek with Little Lambchop. I took Jasper into the den while my wife, Jean, hid Lambchop in the family room. That Little Lambchop can be sneaky. She hid under pillows, behind the Kleenex box and once even on the window sill. Jasper found her in no time though. He's got a good sniffer, especially when it comes to Lambchop. Then the rest of the evening Jasper taunted us with Lambchop until we either tossed her or chased them around the family room. A fun time for everyone.

Sometimes you dig out an old friend from the bottom of the toybox and have a grand old time. Jasper found Little Lambchop the other day. She'd been left alone for years so they spent some time on the Ottoman Empire catching up. True story: Jasper actually dreamed Little Lambchop into existence. See first comment.

Baby lambchop, teenchop, and Mom. Part of a herd of about 20 that i came across today making their way up a canyon cliff to a forested area.

Definitely a carnivore day!

Lamb chops marinated in olive oil, a bit of crushed garlic, the juice of 1/2 lime, a splash of Maggi, salt, pepper, dried marjoram and fresh rosemary; zucchini sautéed in olive oil, the juice of 1/2 lemon, and dried oregano.

Accompanied by a nice little Cabernet Merlot from an Aussie invention — the bladder cask!

Every night after dinner we play with Jasper for a few minutes and then run him through is tricks so he can earn some treats (dessert). But lately either Jean or I will take Jasper into another room while the other hides Little Lambchop. It gives Jasper a chance find her using nose and eyes and brain. Plus he gets a small treat when he finds Little Lambchop. Great fun. It must be like going into battle because all evening after a hide and seek game, Jasper and Lambchop are super tight bonded by the terror of battle. There is quite a bit of rough housing, but it's all in good fun.

Last evening I heard my wife, Jean, talking to Jasper about Little Lambchop and asking whether he remembered Little Lambchop's mother, Lambchop Prime. It seems Lambchop Prime (quite a bit larger than Little Lambchop) has kind of overdone it with plastic surgery and is barely recognizable anymore.

...don't mess with me~~I'll sic my bird friend on you.

We have about a dozen Lambchops at our house in various sizes and states of disrepair, very well loved.

So I parked under this very pole today dig. and what happens?!?!

birds shat all over my car.

bad news, lambchop.

I was out again last week up Dunmail Raise in Cumbria UK. Sat admiring the views then this little fellow came over crying for his Mother. Bonnie Lambs they are to.

I'm guessing my version is whatever I want so Here's Cadbury with her new little Lamby Lambchop :D

This is a little lamb that i couldn't get enough of at my sister in laws house. He is just adorable and i believe made by a local woman. I love his big red bow.

Jasper got an early Christmas present from Jayme and Dash (Thanks again, guys!). Lamb Chop became an instant friend and we play with her several times every day. (see video in next post)

Tomorrow (Thursday) we have to leave Jasper at a sitter while we fly back to Wisconsin to spend a week with family over Christmas. Its going to be a cold visit. I looked at the weather forecast for my home town and the HIGH next Tuesday is -8 F (-22 C).

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

enjoying the beauty of Grandma's flower garden

Happy New Year Everyone xx

Daisy saw the vet today and now her shots are up to date. Every day there are so many changes.

Freezing rain today so we just chilled around the house.

Jasper keeps a keen eye out for his human mother (she's been known to flank an unsuspecting dog. Missing our boy right now. We're in Wisconsin for a wedding. That's a new mini-Lambchop that Jasper got so he's have a new toy to take to the dog sitter :-)
