Located five blocks from the lakefront, the Sheboygan County Courthouse glows under the pink skies of this beautiful sunset.
All sunsets are lovely, but some really stand out. I think this qualifies as a standout!
Lake Vekeri is about 12 kilometres from Debrecen, easily accessible by bus, car and bicycle. The panorama road along the Gyrbegörbe panorama road also has many other attractions. A beautiful, scenic road leads to the Bansk arboretum and the Fancsik lakes. It is a popular recreation and excursion area, filled with local residents every year, winter and summer. The well-maintained surroundings offer hiking and cycling trails, a playground for families with children, lookouts and a show house. The lake also offers picnicking and fishing opportunities for nature lovers.
Green Bay & Western Alco RS3 (RS3u) No. 308 leads a northbound Fox River Valley Railroad freight departing North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, on a gray April 29, 1989. In the background and also crossing Lakeshore Drive grade crossing is a Wisconsin Central switch job drilling cars in their yard.
No less than seven locomotives lead PF9 approaching the old station site of Lakeshore, west of Michigan City. This day, PF9 had to pull an empty NIPSCO coal train from Michigan City to hand off to UP at Chicago.

Wednesday afternoon I walked along the lakefront at Sheboygan's South Pier. The lighting that changed from minute to minute made the walk very interesting. I am posting both a lightside and darkside photo to show the contrast.
Scenic lakeside view featuring frosted stones, icy shores, and trees illuminated by golden sunset hues, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere.

I combined two of my favorite subjects here- the evening lakeshore and the autumn leaf colors!
I framed this scene with the turning Cottonwood leaves draping from above. Another glowing Cottonwood tree is featured in the background.
