I made a pair of hands for Enyo and Ino, but they are too big for the body D: (you can see the super big grey hands at the foto...)
so I need to do another hands again (hands are not exactly easy to do ><:;)
By the way, Ringo is almost finished, I also want to cast her head, and I could sell limited heads for the next year :)

Yep, I've finally got there, my moth-demon is finished, a fine blend of hunted gorgon medusa (Caravaggio), and this mind-blowing crazy macro moth, the wonderful work of Vasily Menshov that was a great inspiration to me… (Check out his macro-insect photography on Google !!!!)

It's a 45cm BJD that I have been making in ladoll airdry clay, and never took time to finish it.
Lindy is a 7" tall bust of a young girl made of LaDoll air-dry clay. I made her in a class taught by the Australian artist, Linda Misa. You can see Linda's work here: tact-ilse.blogspot.com/ and on Facebook: www.facebook.com/linda.misa. I highly recommend her classes.

imho it's a great idea, and if I've seen it, it wasn't meant to be kept secret. I'm sharing it myself.
all the credits to the person who imagined this first, even if I don't know who is.
it adds lot of fun to all the shoulder movements, so, since I still want double joints for the hips, I thought i could add some spice to the shoulders too.

I'm embarking on the exciting journey of creating my first BJD! (My first BJD body, for now)... I got the idea that I wanted a different body for my Sist, but I couldn't find one that I liked and I was not confident if I could get what I wanted from modding the few bodies that were kinda close... So I said to myself, 'why not try making it?' I've been wanting to try this for a while! I am very new and inexperienced, but I'm hoping to improve along the way :)
I thought about Anne Shirley as I made this beautyfull teddy-doll. Perhaps, because she hat freckles and looks so trustful ^__^ I think she is more doll as a teddy and she didn't want to wear any bows or bells. She asked me to make her a very special accessory - a lace shawl with a brooch from silk bow, polymer clay flowers and a tiny key.
Shirley is 29,5 cm tall, she was sewn from viscose (hand dyed) and her face is hand-sculpted and painted by me from LaDoll. Her hair are from softest mohair.
She is fully cotter pin jointed, has a wobble-head and stuffed with polyfill with steel beads for stability and a nice weight. Her arms and legs are fasted a little bit loose just to give Shirley a nice feeling in the arms.

My tiny body I've been working on sculpting compared to a Pukipuki.
The knees still need a lot of work, and of course the hands...also, I only have one peanut for the elbows (that fits both sides), and one for the knees, so only one limb of each is actually "whole". If I ever get this body to a casting stage, I'll have to cast twice as many peanuts so I'll have enough to go around. xP

oks, seriously. LaDoll, after DAS and natural clay, is amazing ^^ had lot of fun, but the torso broke in two at the waist heigh. as soon as the clay will dry, I'll try to smooth it and adjust the asymmetries. add boobies and so on.
hate the hips, so I'll have to fix them too.

so. Olympia will never be casted in resin. she's half a success and half a fail, as her lower body/legs aren't good enough to allow her to stand on her feet ^^
have to improve very much, and go back to more basic joints. but she's been a lot of fun and she'll ever hold a spot inside my heart. I'll make her a proper wig soon ^_^
