For Macro Mondays.
This week's theme: Label
I photographed just about every label in the fridge, the pantry and throughout the house. But I like that this one included bubbles.

I bought this perfume when I was in London for the first time. It's just a cheap M&S scent, but it's sweet and earthy and with every whiff I'm back in London again.
I could be called many things but I am so much more than the sum of my labels.

Happy Macro Mondays to you all!
This is the manufactures mark, cast into the surface of a cast iron cooking pot. It is 2 and half inches across, hence the tight crop.
Originally, the logo would have been pressed into the surface of a sand mould into which molten iron was cast.
This pot turned un in the back of a building I was clearing and after an hour with a wire brush and a tin of graphite based Grate Black it now looks splendid.
Archibald Kendrick & Sons set up as Iron Founders in 1791 and are still in operation in West Bromwich.

I received a set of fibre-tip pens for my birthday: flic.kr/p/2n9KVGr
A few colours are very close, the caps don't indicate accurately, and the pens aren't labelled or otherwise distinguishable. So I gave them names and made a swatch chart. Fussy perhaps, but enjoyable because I'm obsessed with colour. Now it will be easier to choose the pen I want.
Thank you to everyone who visits, faves, and comments.

Macro Monday - Label
Manufactured by E. Thomas & Williams Ltd, Aberdare, Wales.
This was presented to my husband as part of the winning team at the National Confined Spaces Competition a few years ago.
From North Polar Cap to Hellas Chaos the major features in the previous image labelled for perspective and clarity!
This gold-colored label originates from Japan . It was used from around 1950 to mid 1980s . JCII stands for 'Japan Camera Industry Institute' , and JMDC for 'Japan Machinery Design Center' . It was used to make original Japanese photographic products recognizable (but it did not mean that the individual product was tested) .
For “MacroMondays” - theme : “Label” .
