For Macro Mondays.
This week's theme: Label
I photographed just about every label in the fridge, the pantry and throughout the house. But I like that this one included bubbles.

The warning label on the end of the green laser pointer that I use for astronomy. I thought this might be good for this week's Macro Mondays theme, which is "label".

How easy we label someone without walking on sec in their shoes.
We judge others by their actions and ourselves by our intentions.
Macro Mondays theme: Label
My choice of subject is a bag of Valencia rice grown in the heart of the Albufera Natural Park in Spain. In fact it was here that paella as a dish was first eaten, taking advantage of the abundance of natural wildlife living in the park. I ordered this rice while I was looking for sources of basic proteins (rice and beans) to cook in the event of long term food scarcity during the pandemic. Not a very cost effective item, I still thought it might be fun to try making my own paella.

I bought this perfume when I was in London for the first time. It's just a cheap M&S scent, but it's sweet and earthy and with every whiff I'm back in London again.
Stamped dimensions of metric drill bit diameters.
Many thanks for all views, fav's - and particularly comments - all are greatly appreciated!
Happy Macro Mondays to you all!
I could be called many things but I am so much more than the sum of my labels.

Label from an Eccles Miner's Safety Lamp. Quite a modern lamp which can be relit if it goes out underground. A relic from my past.

My favorite labels are record labels. That said, I had some difficulty creating a line-up of CD spines that (1) were from paper digipaks (so I didn't have to fight with light reflections off plastic jewel cases), (2) put the label in roughly the same spot at the bottom, and (3) used a logo of some sort rather than just the name of the label. You can see from my made-public outtakes from this session that I started with a full line-up and gradually focused in on the Capitol label, whose printing seemed the most interesting in the macro format.
I have several of these old clothing labels, most of them are in strips of 2-6 labels. I have 13 strips and 3 individual labels. There are only a couple of brands I have that I recognize, one is Fruit of the Loom and the other is PayDay. Besides the ones in my photo, I also have some for Positive Wear, Glover's Sleepingwear, Etowah Chief, Chic Made, New Era Broadcloth, Girard Runner Broadcloth and Polly underwear.
