(12/365) I do enjoy a glass of wine but almost as much I enjoy the beautiful labels, I've photographed a dozen or more over the past couple of years (see my Booze & Food album). This just happens to be Australian again! Don't get all big headed DaveSPN. I don't very often buy the wines in question (as was the case today) because they are mostly out of my price range.

Unfortunately the label for this plant in my Gold Coast hinterland garden has gone missing. My efforts to find another example among the myriads of flowers on the internet has yielded nothing. The variegated leaves are about 20cm long and 8cm wide and oval-shaped. The inflorescence is 10cm long. The plant spreads a little and is about half a metre tall. Whatever it is, it makes a pretty bold image using window light on a sunny day.
