I finished this fellow a couple days ago and just listed him on my Etsy, for any interested parties.
Kumiho smiled at her as she walked in. "Welcome Mew!", he said happily. "What brings you here today? Anything special?".
Mew smiled back. She was very happy today. "Not anything in particular, Kumiho. I have saved up my money and now I'm here to get myself a present", she said.
Kiko had stopped trying to fight with Oboe after awhile. He loved Oboe, and never wanted him to leave, but he knew that eventually Oboe would have to give up on him. Move on to a more magical and important Being, and that broke his heart.
Kumiho nudges himself in to better hear what's going on.
"Um...Kumiho. You're going to have to stand over there. I need my space", Shire says kindly.
She admired a wall of beautiful hand crafted toys and plushes, all stitched by many different types of magical Beings. There were Dwarven made wooden houses (the very best), and Elvish made miniature figures. Her head swam with happiness just looking at all of the amazing craftsmanship. Her purse jingled with coins.

Kitsune flew down the steps, unaware that Kumiho stood directly behind her. But something inside her told her to stop, and suddenly she froze on the steps.
A small coo came from the crib at their side. they both looked over slowly to see Kiko opening his eyes happily. Kitsune danced over to his side and lifted him gingerly from his crib. "Kiko, my love. Someday everyone will see you for the prize that you are. You just wait and see"Kumiho walked over to her side and put his arm around her and smiled down at his little son.
They placed him in his stroller, went to get Koneko from her room, and decided that there was no better time than now to go and introduce little Kiko to the world.
They smiled at each other for several seconds before Tatl went over to help Haku sit down.
"What made you dress up like this?", Tatl said with a snicker. "You look so silly...and cute".
Her face blushed.
"I thought you'd like it", Haku said with a slight smile. I can't see what I look like, but I asked Kumiho to pick a funny outfit for me so that I could put a smile back on your face".
And they vowed to never be apart again, and never take each other for granted. Their love would grow with each passing year, and they would live happily ever after, forever.

Wander knocked on the door one last time. She walked into the room where Aishling waited for her nervously. She held Fleecy behind her back nervously, and tried to keep it quiet. But it was too late...Fleecy began to wale. "Friend! FRIEND!! FRIIIIEEEENDDD! Play with me! Fleecy is lonely!", Fleecy pleaded annoyingly. All Wander really wanted to do was throw Fleecy off of a cliff, but she walked ever onward until she stood right in front of Aishling.

Kumiho would tell little Kiko wonderful stories about humans that did heroic things. He tried to prove that humans, like magical Beings, could be exceptional, and could really make a difference.
Kiko listened intently to his dad's stories, trying to act interested and not let his true feelings show. Humans, to him, were still weak and their lives were short like the leaves of a tree. He didn't want to fade like the green leaves in fall. He wanted to live with his family forever, as magical Animagis would, and be a fox that frolicked and played in the fields with his sister, Koneko.

The truth was that he had been unable to fully transform back into his elf form ever since he had been captured so long ago. No matter how hard he tried he always remained either fully fox, or somewhere half way between fox and boy. He was slightly ashamed of this, and he felt unsure of how Kitsune would receive his current state. He made his way over to the window and pooped inside.

Finally, with an exhausted huff, Mew sat down on her bed. "So", she said in a resolute voice. "You talked earlier, didn't you? I heard it as clear as could be, so you'd better speak up again, or else you'll stay in your box. You asked for help...from what I wonder?".
She continued talking for a long time. If there was one thing Mew had as a Keeper, it was patience, and she could sit here all day without hesitation. She knew that she had heard these two characters talk, and she was determined to get them talking again.
