No trip to Köln is complete without a visit to the Köln Cathedral. Its one of the most visible buildings in the cityscape. It has withstood many years of history and even two world wars.

As it was raining a lot when I went in, I did not dare to take my camera out. But when I came out, it just stopped raining enough to get this handheld capture.

Photographed with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, and Leitz Wetzlar Summicron-R 35mm F2 lens, with B+W UV and Haze Filter. Handheld.

Also since it is a manual lens, the EXIF data won't reflect the lens information correctly.

There are probably about 20 other photos like this after the mass gathering by the bridge in Koln. If anybody else is going to try this - wait until all the lights come on the bridge - they come on in stages over 1 hr.
