Kochi's very own sunset picture. This one has been attempted at least a hundred times before. It has become so much of a cliche. But nothing could just stop me from doing one for my own!!

The final Shikoku prefecture I had left to visit was Kochi--a city which boasts one of the twelve original castles of Japan. Here, you can see the Ote-mon, the main gate leading to the castle complex. Scenes from the film The Hirayama Bridge were shot just inside this gate. While Kochi is roughly five hours from Osaka via rapid and Shinkansen trains, it is well worth the visit for any castle aficionado.

Is it possible to fall in love with a tree? I think so.
