Photos of the setup and opening of the WIPO Virtual Exhibition on Traditional Knowledge: The Yakuanoi World.
The inaugration of the exhibition took place at the WIPO Geneva headquarters on March 19, 2024, and featured a virtual reality goggles for guests, allowing them to immerse themselves into a 360-degree digital experience.
Combining audiovisual and written resources, the virtual exhibition aims to offer a comprehensive illustration of key opportunities and challenges faced by Indigenous Peoples, as well as local communities, to protect and promote their traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions as intellectual property.
