The 2018 UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme was launched today at the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre, Bonn. 19 mid- to senior-level TVET leaders from UNEVOC Centres and other institutions from 18 countries around the world are participating in the programme. Various events organized on World Knowledge Day at DSVV
"National Knowledge Day" was organized in various departments of the Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya on 15 October. The day would be celebrated each year on this date in the honor of Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. In addition to that, several programs were organized to commemorate World's Student's Day. The welcomed guest of the program, Shri Sharad Pardhy, the Vice Chancellor of the University, said that Knowledge is such an asset with which not only the progress of an individual but that of society is also associated. According to him knowledge of Self is the chief among all the knowledge, where from many types of knowledge sprout out on their own. In the series of the programs held, quiz and poster contests were held by the Communication and Culture department. The Animation department presented a documentary to spread the awareness of the day while NSS organized several awareness programs. The special guest of the program, Prof. Abhay Saxena, the Dean of the Science Faculty, remarked that the whole life is a link to the chain of incessant knowledge where every one has to learn from their own experiences.
