I went on a girl date with Syrup to the botanic gardens and AGNSW today, we were so exhausted from giggling, eating, dolly time, and gossiping!!

As we began our Exodus from Black Rock City I knew our journey was coming to an end, but my life was really just beginning. Five days earlier we had traveled this same dusty road reading the Burma-Shave-style signs on the way in, that were designed to get the cars to slow down and get you jazzed for the entry. I snapped one of these signs while we were stopped as the sky was opening up the most amazing sunset.
It took us 3 hours to get back to Reno including about half that time in line before the gate, but the line was amazing. Six lanes deep of people partying and carrying the spirit of Burning Man with them—sharing food and drink, pushing their cars to save petrol, playing Frisbee, and getting out and meeting other Burners. No one really wanted it to be over, but for the first time I felt excited for what the future might hold.
Haven't used 0.7 in a bit, so it feels almost as if I am new to it, aside from old tricks, so any criticism would be appreciated.

Knowing of my love for Nordstrom, Beefy’s dad and stepmom gave me a store gift certificate for my birthday. But when I went to spend it, I couldn’t find anything I wanted at the physical or online store! (First world problems, right?) That gift certificate was burning a hole in my pocket until I headed to the Norstrom Rack and found this Theory dress for less than $70. The dress was the only one in the store and wrinkled enough to discourage less determined buyers. I think it was meant to be.

Bella shares a blanket on a sleepy Saturday afternoon. Many times, when she's looking for attention, she'll give us a head butt. I think you can tell by this picture that Bella knows that she's loved.

Knowing how many people are employed in agriculture is not as straightforward as it might seem and certainly not as easy as other sectors of the economy. This is explained by the fact that many farmers and farm workers pursue agriculture as a part-time activity, that many farms are family-run with family members providing help on the farm at different times of the year, and that there are seasonal peaks in labour (particularly when it comes to harvesting).
At times like this it's really handy knowing someone who can fly...M is a professional dancer and even after knowing her for 3 years this was the first time I'd seen her do some moves. I am lying down to get these pics so it looks like she's higher than she actually is BUT she is jumping on SAND! How hard is that? Look at her face...she loves doing it and can do it all day. Look at her hands...totally relaxed and in control. Amazing.
I cannot even begin to explain how exciting it is to see the first glimpse of Ireland, knowing you're almost 'home'.
