We have two knockout rose bushes planted out in front of our porch. They were given to my wife by one of her patients (she's a nurse) a couple years or so ago. The one this photo was taken from, she calls, "Paul" after her patient. The other she calls, "Wilma" after his wife. They have flowers from early in the spring until the frost gets them in the fall.
When I was out at the nursery last year getting a rose for the back yard I took a few pictures of the other flowers.. I thought this red one was very nice and I almost bought it but got the Coral instead...

These Icelandic horses were running around playing like dogs. It was windy and raining, the other horses were huddling up to stay warm, but these two decided it was time to play. Love those manes!
One of my commercial shoots: Photos featuring Chinese models as wallpapers. Those were downloadable on a Philips microsite. It was for the launch of a new "3D Shaver". The idea was to show four different women: A model, an artist, a office worker and an CEO.
This photo was not one of the final 3 that were offered as a wallpaper. I still like it though, and share it here on flickr.
I stopped by the Mission District in SF today and saw this huge mural with a naked tattoo guy knocking out another guy. Thought it was cool. There were so many murals over there it 's unbelievable. However, I needed to be aware of my surroundings while shooting around in that neighborhood. I think you could refer it as the "hood". I did bring my Leica rangefinders with me and dress down quite a bit wtih my hoodie jacket. Good thing I had my Fuji point and shoot with me in the pocket so that I didn't need to bring out the rangefinder from my camera bag.
This is the knockout blow in the battle between the two combatants. Note the three fragments of fur in the air above their backs. The bull in the foreground immediately withdrew and appeared to be injured. Lamar Valley Yellowstone National Park
This is a neat little rose.. It is larger than the minis but not as big as the normal rose.. I think they were developed to be used as backgrounds or hedges.. There are different colors and I chose the coral one but the red and the white ones were nice as well.. Processed with an action by Dave Seeram called Illustration...
One of my favorites of her. Hope you are not getting tired of these Prom images. Have a blessed happy Tuesday, smiles and hugs, Nana :) ♥
I've never known anyone yet who doesn't suffer a certain restlessness when autumn rolls around... We're all eight years old again and anything is possible.

Happy Saturated Saturday -- here's to a weekend filled with possibilities!!

Here is Knockout from the Transformers Prime Tv series recommended by 97legomaniac a while ago (I know he made a larger and mini version of knockout on his youtube.) Sorry for the delay I was busy with school work. Knockout is very complex for his size and is probably the most complex carformer I made along with movie bumblebee. Unlike my movie bumblebee he actually looks fairly good in both modes. He took very long to make and I tried my best.

Yay these new hinges help a lot and I wouldn't really be able to make him without them. It would be sooo helpful if lego released these in half size
Robot mode- His Cgi model looks almost impossible to translate correctly in toy form. His toy did a pretty good job of doing so. It was much harder to do so with legos at this scale. There were a few major things I couldn't do. First of all I tried my best with the head. I was originally going to use a red claw piece for his crest but it looked out of proportion and plus it barely fits in vehicle mode as I have it now. Secondly his arms look awkward because of all the hinges due to transformation to orient them correctly. He also has back kibble unlike the toy which cleverly folds the roof halves on his arms, but it is only a small panel and is pretty clean though it does prevent his wheels on his back from being in the right position. His legs came out very nicely as the panels fold out of the way (Though it took a while to figure it all out) His back wheels are in an fairly accurate place as they appear to be (sorta) integrated into the legs like the in the show
Vehicle mode- He is a sports car resembling an Aston Martin (correct me if im wrong) Pretty sleek compared to most my carformers. I tried my best with the coloring such as with the dark red on the hood and white on the sides. The wheels stick out too far but I couldn't do anything about it. I tried my best with the back. He is supposed to have 4 back lights but I could only fit 2. (there weren't that many shots of the back of his car mode in the show anyways) The new double hinge only comes in black (And yellow orange) so I tried to cover it up with dark red tiles making the front windshield area look awkward.
Transformation- Check it out here!

Thanks again to 97legomaniac for recommending me to do Knockout. Hope you enjoy him!
This little rose is really knocking itself out.. We have had frost and freezing weather and it is still producing these nice little flowers... I took this today, Thanksgiving Day 11-22-18, mainly because I thought it would brighten up my photostream.. LOL!!
