One of my first expeditions in the tacky knitting realm.

Fingerless gloves, or "wristlets", designed by me. Knit in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino.

When the weather allows I take my knitting out into the fields. Today was one of those days. I was knitting the sky.

knitted myself a new pair of cosy wristwarmers ready for the colder autumn days. Have written it up as a free pattern which you can download if you'd like to make some. See my profile for a link to my blog where there's info about downloading the pdf file.

From my beetroot handspun. I made one pair as a birthday gift for a friend, and liked them so much I decided a second pair for me was in order. Good thing I had plenty of yarn.

My next mitten project which I'm really enjoying working on. I've done a twisted rib for the first time, and I'm very happy with the result.

Happy knitting to all of the yarn addicts out there !!
