The pieces felted up really well.... they're quite thick and ridged... probably because it's garter stitch and not stockinette.... so my teacher tells me. I love them!

The yellow row counter was my mum's - I think it was bought either during or just after World War II. The red one is a more modern version.

I have done a lot of knitting this past winter. This is one of the things tha I have kept for myself. It is a very warm large cowl or small poncho. The pattern came from a Ravelry contact, Jane Thorney (sp?).

In the heat of summer, my husband finally received his chunky cardigan.
