The kit I finally decided on after much testing: mechanical pencil, fountain pen, water colors and travel brush.

KIT is 19 years old. She is paying her way through college via killing people for money. This character sounds edgy as hell and I made this MOC like 2 years ago.

This was not so easy to find – at least to me – kit of Cyborg 009 from Mark Mokei, Japan 1983. I used to have one made up back in 1987 but it was a copy of this original by Academy, Korea. I loved this kit and it was a fantastic one back then with clear chest showing the inner mechanism! I could not find this for years and years but about a week ago I was searching for other subject and it just popped up out of the blue and I bid on it but while I was sleeping – this is the time difference for ya! – and someone snatched it from me. I was so disappointed but sent a message to the seller hoping he had another one and I knew it was a long shot. But you know what? He had one more and there I have one now!
Is wooden shaving kit worth it?
A wooden shaving kit will bring extra moisture to the foam, thickening the lather and making the process that much simpler. Finally, there's the matter of exfoliation. As you can imagine, the process of brushing your face with literal animal hairs helps to scrub away dirt, dust and dead skin cells.

Trying out new kit. The battery is very small and light. It comes with a spill kill reflector. The other two photos shows the Bowen adaptor fitted. The battery power lead connects to the side and the sync cable plugs in the back.
I just need a photo shoot to fully test it out.
Update: 10/11/2011, Used the head in a shoot last week. Very happy with it. One weakness is the supplied umbrella bracket shown on this photo. It is not very strong. When I tried mounting a large beauty dish on it, the bracket was not strong enough to hold the head in position. I am now investigating the Manfrotto swivel adapter.
