The Church of England parish church of St. Michael and All Angels was a chapel of Dorchester parish until the 19th century. The oldest parts of the church include the arcade of the south aisle, which was built in about 1180. Elsewhere in the church are three lancet windows from the 13th century in the Early English style. The south aisle ends in a chapel which was added in the 14th century in the Decorated style. The arcade of the north aisle is later, in the Perpendicular style. In 1844 Sir George Gilbert Scott rebuilt the church, ornamenting the chancel as a memorial to the benefactor who funded the restoration.

Taken in the Room of the Last Supper, a second-story room in Jerusalem that commemorates the "upper room" in which Jesus shared the Last Supper with His disciples. It is located directly above the Tomb of King David and near the Abbey of the Dormition on Mount Zion. This room was built in the 12th century, but may have been built on or near the actual site of the Last Supper. To the left is the mihrab, an alcove built by the Ottomans in the 1500s that indicates the direction of Mecca, which is the directions Muslims should face when praying.

A visit to Cluny Abbey, the visit would take around an hour.
Cluny Abbey (or Cluni, or Clugny, French pronunciation: [klyni]) is a former Benedictine monastery in Cluny, Saône-et-Loire, France. It was dedicated to St Peter. The abbey was constructed in the Romanesque architectural style, with three churches built in succession from the 4th to the early 12th centuries. The earliest basilica was the world's largest church until the St. Peter's Basilica construction began in Rome.
Cluny was founded by William I, Duke of Aquitaine in 910. He nominated Berno as the first Abbot of Cluny, subject only to Pope Sergius III. The abbey was notable for its stricter adherence to the Rule of St. Benedict, whereby Cluny became acknowledged as the leader of western monasticism. The establishment of the Benedictine Order was a keystone to the stability of European society that was achieved in the 11th century. In 1790 during the French Revolution, the abbey was sacked and mostly destroyed, with only a small part of the Abbey surviving.
Starting around 1334, the Abbots of Cluny maintained a townhouse in Paris known as the Hôtel de Cluny, which has been a public museum since 1843. Apart from the name, it no longer possesses anything originally connected with Cluny.
In 2007 the Abbey of Cluny was the first site to receive the "European Heritage" label.
The Chapel of Jean de Bourbon
A well preserved private chapel designed for the use of Abbot Jean de Bourbon and designed to contain his tomb. This 1460s Gothic construction, 12 metres long, comprises two straight bays and a three-sided apse.
It features ribbed vaults and is lit by the clerestory windows.
This chapel is renowned for it's ornateness. An iconographical programme based on the major figures of the Old and New Testaments spreads over it's walls.

One of the (59!) romanesque capitals in the cathedral St. Maurice, carved late 12th century shows King David, clothed pretty opulent. The carver, probably the same who did the "Luxuria" tried to create again a very symetric image. Upto King David´s knees, it is symetric. King Davids right hand holds the bow, but notice the left hand, that holds the instrument. Maybe a chord is shown, but to carver for this turned the instrument - and somehow twisted King David´s arm and hand around in a position that is just impossible.. Like the Luxuria King David has this "frozen" face.
