Judy and Mike got married last night! Behold the rings (made by silversmith Mike) and the kiddush cup (not made by Mike). I got to hold one of the chuppah poles, too!
Every Friday afternoon, we organized a Shabbat playgroup for our Bambinim families. I did challah baking with the kids and organized an arts and crafts activity that related to the parsha of the week. We then did a small Kiddush, complete with the Shabbat blessings and lots of singing!
Very smart crowd: Work both sides of the table. Although I know we had a few pounds of lox, by the time I paused to grab a bite, it was all gone. Which just goes to prove my theory that no one has ever had lox left over at a synagogue event.
