Good update, but in dire need of his gun, wings should have been chrome plated too...I did wonder whether to buy the Takara Legends version at the time as he came with other items and a slightly different paint / plastic colours scheme...however, I opted for this version at it far cheaper with shipping from the Far East via ebay...

Which version do you prefer and why?

Generation 1 Insecticons!

Added articulation and paint to bring these guys into the 21st century. The Insecticons were my favorite transformers as a kid, so I thought I'd give them some updates and love.

Kickback has added articulation in his shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, waist, thighs, knees, and head.

Bombshell has articulation added to his shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands/fingers, waist, thighs, and knees.

Shrapnel has added articulation to his shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, waist, thighs, ankles, and knees

All reprolabeled up!

I am finally the proud owner of a G1 Insectacon!

He really does not appreciate one of his hands being replaced with a mechanical boxing glove.

Yes, that is a boxing glove on one of his hands.

This spot in the Elephant Hill trail was a bit tricky. It was very narrow (see the tire marks on the rock wall?), and had large rocks and boulders. To top it all off, it was impossible to make the turn, so we had to pull part way in, back up, then complete the turn. I think I scrapped something under my Jeep here.

Life's a beach... gotta power tan.

Kickback is an Insecticon from Generation 1, pictured in robot mode.

This version of the toy is from the 2009 Toys"R"Us re-release. This is my second copy of this toy as Kickback was the only Insection I had when I was a kid.
