In March 2007, Inveneo, BOSCO, and a local Ugandan IT Partner, Keyskills, working side-by-side, installed a long-distance WiFi network and connected eight Caritas offices, two medical clinics, and three schools. In 2010, BOSCO Uganda was awarded the Breaking Borders Award in the technology category, sponsored by Google, Global Voices and Reuters.
