(p.s. in case it looks odd, his front left paw is facing the window)

I put some in the kitchen sink for Muse to play with--or watch, or whatever.

I don't normally do a load within such a close color range, but I needed to wash a new piece of fabric with a lot of turquoise in the print. Even if the color bled, these old towels would benefit from a fresh blast of color. Jimmy needed a distraction, so he got the clothes warm from the dryer. He was being really cute so I'll warn you that there may be a lot of posts with this setup.

It snowed for hours and hours today--a rarity in central Georgia (USA), where we live. Muse went into the cat enclosure to experience it fully.

Tina was chomping on Jimmy, who might have been simultaneously chomping on Tina. It was about ten minutes before their lunchtime, so they were probably both just a little antsy.

That's Otis on the left, and Batman on the right. This was not a prelude to a fight, so I'm not sure what it was about.

(p.s. Batman does have two ears; one is folded back.)

All I did was walk into the kitchen with a bouquet of just-snipped catnip. They materialized out of nowhere.

(missing: Camille and Puddy)

Jimmy, observing Muse's independence (it was Muse's first opportunity to have the door to "his" room open.)

If this had sound, you would hear: "Be sweet, Jimmy. Good boy! Aren't you a sweet boy, Jimmy? [repeat from the beginning]"

...and the cats had changed into this conga line.

The squirrel wasn't the least bit intimidated by Guru, and thrashed through the leaves at the base of the stairs & close to the pen, ostensibly to find acorns.

We have had it for many months, and seen "zero" interest.

Batman grooms Jimmy. (#1 of 3)

(p.s. I haven't read the book yet, but am looking forward to it. That's why it's on the top of the pile.). :D

I was shutting everything off to go to sleep, and ran across these two. This is a new combination of snugglers. 'Never a dull moment around here. =^..^=

That embroidered cat pillow seems to be in all my photos lately (not that I don't love it), but I purposely covered it up when I opened the shutters this morning. :D

So, who's the cutest: brown cat, leopard, dilute orange, Jimmy?

As we started to unpack, Guru found a good spot in the suitcase. The smells must be interesting to him-- our dirty clothes with all sorts of sea spray or ocean water on them, along with cartons of shells we found on Sanibel Island this trip.

I'm pretty sure Muse maneuvered himself into this position while Jimmy was asleep.

Jimmy reaches for Idaho in an "Earth to Idaho!" sort of way.

Andreas ( drayy) told me about the John Dory fish. It is known for having one distinct spot on its side. Muse only has the spot on one side, though.
