Miau, miau, hörst du mich schreien?
Miau, miau, ich will dich freien.
Folgst du mir aus den Gemächern,
singen wir hoch auf den Dächern.
Miau, komm geliebte Katze,
miau, reich mir deine Tatze
Mioau, miaou, la nuit dernière.

She and I were enjoying the sunshine, and I was weeding and uncovering the beginnings of plants pushing through the dirt. I'd say we were both looking on the bright side (today's Happy Caturday theme). Happy Caturday to all my friends!
I haven't posted this before... It bothered me that his eyes were different sizes, I guess... but I keep coming back to it, because of his earnest, friendly face. Guru makes a lot of eye contact--one of the things I really love about him. That's why I'm choosing this image for this week's Happy Caturday group theme: a photo we love of a cat that we love.
Happy Caturday! =^..^= ❤️
Camille is our only indoor/outdoor cat. She often accompanies me when I work in the garden. As I move around, I love to look up and see her spot me and make a beeline in my direction.
I'm adding this as my second choice for the Happy Caturday group theme because today's sunny weather reminded me how much I love Camille's company.
Christmas offer lots of opportunities for having fun with both incoming and outgoing packages and the accompanying packing materials. Guru likes the Entertainment and Sports sections.
(posted for the Happy Caturday theme "having fun")
This cat knows way more people in the neighborhood than I do. He actually lives a couple doors down, but when he is stationed across the street (as he is here) I see him greet one person after another as they take their evening walk, or make their way to the bus stop...
He cracks me up because he always looks so serious.
Happy Caturday, everyone!

Happy Caturday!
This week's theme was to showcase our cat's fur.
Jimmy has two lengths of fur: a thicker, "normal" length and a second, finer layer of long hairs that glow bright orange in the sun.
I took a pan of hot water off of the burner (gas stove), to pour over the dirty dishes in the sink, and before I could turn off the flame Batman walked right over it! He singed some belly fur and a bit of tail, and, well, his whiskers....
I haven't been able to take any photographs for a little over a week because I have to hop around on one foot with a walker (torn Achilles' tendon). Guru gave me this shot, however, which I could take from my recliner.
