I tried this as an exercise in one light setups.

Kat is a yoga teacher

Kat makes 'old-school' folk-rock, so she wanted her photos sepia toned. I have versions of these without my name on them saved, so I can add Sybil's name if they end up on her studio wall.

Kat Ba'loo was watching me use my camera, as i experimented with the settings, turns out hes a natural.

OMG, so many capes! They get so heavy and warm.

Baby Kat precariously walks along the spiked fence in our garden. It didn't occur to me that if she had accidentally slipped one of the spikes could have wounded her badly.

Fortunately she was very sure footed and got down on the grass safely.

This was a high key shot with the light behind her, therefore she was slightly underexposed. I wish I had used fill-in flash for this capture but this was a totally unplanned shot. The old Canon A620 I had then lacked optical image stabilization and wasn't a good performer in low lighting conditions.
