Die Ceona Amazon ist ein kombinierter Rohr-Kabelleger für die britische Firma Ceona Services und wurde von der Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven Ende 2014 abgeliefert. Die spezielle Decksausrüstungen zum Rohrlegen wurde beim niederländischen Unternehmen Huisman installiert.
Technische Daten
Der Kasko entstand auf der polnischen Crist Werft. Das Schiff ist 199,4 Meter lang, 32,2 Meter breit, hat einen Tiefgang von 8,0 Metern und wird von einer dieselelektrischen Anlage angetrieben. Sie besteht aus sechs MAN-Dieselmotoren, die Generatoren mit insgesamt 28.000 kW Leistung antreiben. Für die Propulsionsanlage wurden drei Azimuth-Heckstrahler zu je 3.500 kW Leistung, drei einziehbare Azimuth-Bugstrahler mit 2.400 kW Leistung sowie ein Tunnel-Bugstrahler mit 1.800 kW Leistung installiert. Die Dienstgeschwindigkeit beträgt 12 kn und die max. Geschwindigkeit 14 kn. Zur Unterbringung der 200 Personen (Besatzung und Servicepersonal zum Rohrlegen) stehen 16 Einzelkabinen und 92 Doppelkabinen zur Verfügung.Das Spezialschiff ist mit speziellen Einrichtungen zur Verlegung von Rohrleitungen ausgestattet, unter Deck können rund 5500 t und an Deck etwa 3000 t an Rohrmaterial gestaut werden. Im Vorschiff befindet sich ein Hubschrauberlandeplatz, außerdem gehören zwei ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) zur Ausstattung, die bis in Tiefen von 3000 m arbeiten können. Der dazugehörige Moonpool misst 8 × 13,5 m. Weiterhin sind zwei seegangkompensierte 400-Tonnen-Schwerlastkräne vorhanden, die durch einen 30-Tonnen-Knickarm-Kran ergänzt werden. Sie dienen sowohl zum Umschlag, zur Rohrverlegung, als auch zur Installation großer Unterwasseranlagen bis in Wassertiefen von 3.000 Metern. Ein Kongsberg-DP-System steuert die verschiedenen Propulsionsorgane an und sorgt für die dynamische Positionierung beim Rohrlegen und den Offshore-Kranarbeiten. Zum Krängungsausgleich dient ein Antiheelingsystem von Hoppe mit 3 × 1700 m³/h. Zur Trinkwassererzeugung wurde eine Umkehrosmose-Anlage mit 2 × 50 m³/Tag installiert und die Ballastwasser-Aufbereitungsanlage von MMC hat eine Kapazität von 300 m³/h. Quelle: Wikipedia
En Esperanto: Fred Wright (el Anglujo) estas la biciklisto kun blanka ĉemizo kaj ruĝa pantalono. Fred radjis tre bone en 'Le Tour de France 2022'. La biciklisto kun blaua kasko estas Pier-André Coté (el Kanado). Geraint Thomas (el Kimrujo) havas ruĝan ĉemizon kaj nigran kaskon. Geraint gajnis 'Le Tour de France' en 2018.
The three main cyclists photographed are Fred Wright (from England) wearing a white shirt and red shorts, Pier-André Coté (from Canada) wearing a blue helmet and Geraint Thomas (from Wales) wearing a red shirt and black helmet. They finished 5th, 13th and 8th respectively out of 126 riders that started the race.
Fred Wright had a fantastic Tour de France 2022. He was in many breakaways and was unlucky not to have a stage win. Also, he was only a split second from winning a medal in this race. He's very likely to win Grand Tour stages in future.
In the Vuelta a Espana 2022 Fred was involved in a controversial incident. Primož Roglič (one of the favorites to win) crashed and subsequently abandoned the race. He blamed Fred Wright - Fred denied that he was to blame, saying that it was "just a racing incident".
Die ex 132 050 und bei Dolata als BR232-781 eingereihte Lok ist wahrlich vom Unglück verfolgt. Zuerst gab es die nennenswerte Entgleisung in Malczyce und die damit verbundenen Wirkungen auf das Kasko. Keiner dachte daran, dass die Lok zurückkehren würde. Aber sie kam und war sehr überraschend wieder im Geschäft.
In diesen Tagen dann das zweite Großereignis: durch Dreck oder lose Bauteile gab es einen Lichtbogen im Gleichrichterschrank. Unter dem Schrank sitzt ein Lüfter, der das Feuer mit Frischluft versorgte. Es brannte lichterloh in tiefer Nacht. Die Feuerwehr hielt zwei C-Schläuche in den Lokkasten.
Am 27.05.2022 vertrödelten wir freie Zeit in Niederschlesien und BR232-781 konnte auch angetroffen werden. Am Abend verließ sie Strzegom in Richtung Wrocław.

Here we get down low by the shaded shoreline to catch the wake wave from the passing boat. As I mentioned in my previous photo the feature here is the texture of the water's surface and the gradation of light. [Must be enlarged.]

I thought I'd share this short video with you today. I think you'll find it very useful if you take a few minutes to watch. We must always remember that when people talk about finding an individual "style" that we actually do find our OWN style and not try to mimic that of someone else. And as John Kasko says here, do not be intimidated by irrelevant photo critiques. Set yourself a project and carry it through to the end.

En Esperanto: La biciklisto kun blanka ĉemizo kaj nigra kasko estas Andre Greipel.
The peleton of the Tour of Britain 2016 chasing the breakaway group, which had a 5 minute lead.
Andre Greipel can be seen in 3rd place in the peleton, helping to lead the chase as he has done so many times in this race. He is probably the 2nd best sprinter in the world (behind Cavendish), so it is amazing how he gets himself over category climbs as quickly as he does. In the Tour de France, he climbs even the high mountains at good speed.
Cavendish was further back in the peleton.
