Thirunallar Temple in Pondicherry which lies 5 kilometer west of Karaikal. This is an ancient Siva temple probably constructed in 7th Century A.D.
The sanctum sanctorum of Lord Dharbaraneswara. The temple holds Shiva as the main deity. However, it's shrine is dedicated to Saneeswaran -also known as Saturn, who figures in the story of Nala-Damayanti; makes it the most famous Saturn temple in India.
