So this morning I was curious watching that Butanohana Spaceman auction and I decided that mine was too hidden from view. After taking it down I noticed the slightly bent leg bothered me, so I decided to fix it with a hair dryer (see last 3 photos).

Here's the aggravation part: So my set up is like a house of cards ready to collapse. Any slight shift or movement and disaster will strike. I needed to move the riser the Spaceman was on over and that meant taking half of the top shelf down to shift the risers. I almost had it but bumped the damn Mecha Ju and his missile fell behind my detolfs into no mans land. The way the detolfs rest against the wall anything that falls behind them sits between the wall and the base that is flush with the wall. Basically you can't use a long ruler and get it because it never hits the floor under it. I was fucking livid.

I now had to shift everything on top to the centers of each detolf and slowly twist them out to collect that damn missile. While back there I took time to dust and collect some makeshift riser that had been there for years. All this and putting everything back so it would not collapse took 2 hours. All because I had to move something!

This beauty even has a cool purple stripe on it's back...

These are part of recent Ultra Kaiju addition to my collection and they all have the year 1983 stamped on their feet. Of course that does not meant that they were all released in 1983 as most of them later released many times in different paint job using the same mould. If you can spot the guys re-released later than the said year here is your chance to show off your Ultra kaiju knowledge on Bandai figures : )
