Macro Mondays - theme: Reels
width of this image: 7 cm on the long side (can't remember when I last pushed the size maximum of MM)
This is a gadget for applying (removable) adhesive, for example to fix photographic paper or prints, resembling a Tipp-Ex device in appearance
The shape reminds me a bit of a fish, so I used blue glitter foam rubber as background to create the bubbly sea.

This is a combination of motion blur effect, textures and gaussian blur (and quite some layer masks) ...
Taken on a hike (a lovely day) in Black Forest in May 2022. This lady was walking in front of us for a while until we were stopping (once more) to take images : ))

52 in 2023 challenge: #29 = Homemade
Experiment on a rainy day, just for fun:
I made a star filter using a black photo cardboard, in which I cut out a star in the centre, put it on the 50mm vintage Oreston, darkened the room, and switched on a multi-coloured (DNA-like) helical string of fairy lights.
The cut-out star must have been too big for the 1.5 crop sensor (I had not considered that) as some tips seem to be missing : ))
I never would have anticipated the rather abstract result especially at the edges of the image; it must be due to the slightly swirling bokeh of the vintage lens in combination with the helical shape of the chain of fairy lights, I think.

Ein Experiment an einem regnerischen Tag, nur so zum Spaß:
Ich habe aus schwarzem Fotokarton einen Sternfilter gebastelt, ihn dem 50mm vintage Oreston aufgesetzt, den Raum abgedunkelt und eine mehrfarbige (DNA-ähnliche) Lichterkette eingeschaltet.
Der ausgeschnittene Stern war wohl zu groß für den 1,5 Crop-Sensor (das hatte ich nicht bedacht), da einige Spitzen zu fehlen scheinen : ))
Das eher abstrakte Ergebnis, vor allem an den Rändern des Bildes, hätte ich nie erwartet; es muss an dem leicht verwirbelten "swirly" Bokeh des Vintage-Objektivs in Kombination mit der spiralförmigen Lichterkette liegen, denke ich.

#32 - 100 x challenge - Lensbaby
A friend gave me the idea for this, she had seen it somewhere. I thought I'd give it a go for a photo. I would like to have another go as I'm pretty sure it could be improved but I didn't have time to mess about today. It's just for a bit of fun really.
... exactly on April 30th, we arrived at Paddington Station to start our one-week vacation in London.
The first week of May is traditionally the time of our city trips ... this year (like the last one) it will be a trip through the archives and memories
... we will be back : ))
Just for fun - I played around a bit with Topaz Studio, especially the preset "Dream" (so the colours are altered) and I also had to correct the strong distortions of the Fish-Eye (done in Affinity Raw Editor)

Vor vier Jahren - genau am 30. April - kamen wir an der Paddington Station an, um unseren einwöchigen Urlaub in London zu beginnen.
Die erste Maiwoche ist traditionell die Zeit für unsere Städtereisen ... dieses (wie letztes) Jahr wird es eine Reise durch die Archive und Erinnerungen sein
... wir werden wiederkommen : ))
Nur so zum Spaß - ich habe ein bisschen mit Topaz Studio herumgespielt, vor allem dem Preset "Traum" (daher sind auch die Farben nicht originalgetreu) und musste auch die starken Verzerrungen des Fish-Eyes korrigieren (im Affinity Raw Editor)
Einen schönen Freitag und kommt gut in den Mai : ))

After an appointment in the city I cycled a bit with my bike through the neighbourhood during blue hour, enjoying the fresh air.
The afternoon rain had formed little puddles on the benches and wooden platforms ... and I loved how the warm lights and illuminated trees were reflected in them
Glad I had my camera with me (as most of the time now ;))

Nach einem Termin in der Stadt bin ich zur blauen Stunde ein bisschen mit dem Fahrrad durch die Gegend geradelt.
Der Nachmittagsregen hatte kleine Pfützen auf den Bänken und Holzplattformen gebildet ... und ich liebte die Reflexionen der warmen Lichter und beleuchteten Bäume darin

I was really uninspired this time - hence no exuberant bokeh bubbles or similar, but a very simple 'flatlay' ; ))
This is part of a really cute (big) metal box I got from my sister for my birthday last year. It depicts a camera (main box) with a lens that protrudes from the box and which can also be opened.

These young people obviously had a lot of fun video bombing the Light Art Festival in Karlsruhe on their e-scooter ... boisterously cheering and laughing. They were driving straight to the point where I was standing, so why not take photos of them : ))

I think this summer I will have a new little traveling/photo buddy.
Maggie loves to get into my camera bag now before I go.
And that's when she realized it was for her hehe! I was taking the weight of it and she got lots of treats for it.
I'll be away for about two weeks, getting some fresh air in the mountains and relaxing and recovering from that blasted Corona virus ... so I won't be around most of the time.

One of the images I took for Crazy Tuesday's theme ICM in June 2022, using a ND1000 (10 stops), so the exposure time was quite long
