These furnaces are dotted around Lhasa and are for burning juniper leaves and twigs to give off a nice smell.
Put her head on an Iple baby body. It doesn't really work. The neck is too big, but I put a pipe cleaner in her neck to hold it in place. I like her on the smaller body though. Still waiting for my Dollzone BB body for my Shabee. Maybe Juniper can use it too.

One thing about trees I've always liked is ( parasitic planting ? )
or when another specie of plant or tree grows inside a different plant or tree.
That was one thing i wanted to start a image file of so I wanted a small project for a nice day and I thought what about
the small Juniper I separated growing very close to another bit older tree.
The Potted Maple has a nice center cavity a perfect place
to grown a Juniper at least I have them together and hopefully both will age and grow together .
After all the rain we had I did notice new sucker growth coming out of the Maple's collar i think this will look interesting as both matures .
Juniper was found on a park trail by a young man who was fishing at the time.
She is the Wild Child of the shelter.
Juniper is an independent cat who is happiest on her own-stalking mice and exploring. A gorgeous cat she would be a fine addition to a house that wanted a cat who can keep themselves entertained.

Kencho-ji is one of the five great Zen temples of Kamakura and home to the oldest Zen training monastery in Japan. It was constructed by Emperor Gofukakusa in the year 1253. Rankei Doryu first came to Japan from China in 1246 where he spent several years in Kyushu before founding Kencho-ji. While a great deal smaller than its original complex of 49 buildings, Kencho-ji still has several important buildings and Zen structures.

Hemel Hempstead Field Trip - 05/09/13
A trip to two previous excellent sites in Hemel Hempstead did not yield a great deal with
mostly common species. In fact the moths pretty much stopped flying altogether at about
11pm when the wind got up and it felt a lot cooler (despite being 17 degrees still!)
What we did get was singles of some nice species, including 2 migrants a White-point and
a Dark Sword-grass.
I got one new moth for myself, although extremely worn it can only be a Juniper Pug as it
has been recorded at Roughdown Common before and we were trapping next to several Juniper
bushes.

This large Shimpaku juniper was planted in the field, by one of our club members as a whip in the field in 1982. It was dug up in 2008 and put in a box. In 2009 it was put in this pot and a bunch of field soil was removed. In this repotting I removed all the field soil from one side of the root ball and put it back in the same pot.

This juniper is growing in association with a live oak and a pinyon pine. Placed against the static weight of the cliff, the plants make an unusually rambunctious ensemble.
