Females lay a clutch of 125+ eggs. The spiderlings stay in the nest for about a month after they hatch; the female guards the nest and dies shortly after the young leave it.

Unfortunately this photograph is not sharp at all. It was a few minutes after sunset, my flash was backed in my backpack. And this guy was really skittish and was moving really quickly. But for me this photo is a souvenir from my wonderful vacation.

Something I've been meaning to try for some time... Jumping Pine Marten! Ideally I was after some daylight shots of them doing this but they either didn't play ball or I wasn't ready.
Fortunately it worked well at night though - once I'd eventually got the settings right!
I was at the beach again. This time to work and participate in an amazing charity shootout.
And I loved it.
The sound of those waves, the smell of the sea, the feel of the wind and the constant CLICKING of my shutter--- has a therapeutic effect like none other. And this is Rosina, not me. But it is exactly how I feel.

Many windsurfers are enjoying windsurfing this shore. It is ideal for windsurfing because of strong wind blowing always around there.
琵琶湖最北部にある塩津浜。ここは湖の幅が狭く、両岸は高い山が急に湖に落ち込むV字地形のため、常に強風が吹いている厳しい環境の場所。
休日になると、関西や中部の各地からウィンドサーフィンを楽しむ方が集まってきます。
風を上手く捉えると、かなり高速で湖面を疾走できます。
It's a baby nuthatch! 😊 For some reason I like this shot of his blurry little behind better than the sharp ones. There were two of them; jumping around, chirping away, eating something that they were picking out of the moss on the tree trunk.

"Réiser Päerdsdeeg" is an International equestrian event. (CSI*** and CSI*)
An integral part of the international show jumping scene since 1992, the Réiser Päerdsdeeg attract more than 4000 visitors each year. The tournament, which boasts international show jumping stars, takes place every year on the Herchesfeld, located between Crauthem and Roeser.

This jump was ultimately the hardest one either of us have ever done... which is saying a lot, because we have had some tricky times, and we've now done over 140 jumps...
The snow was so deep, Rosanna spent 5 minutes getting her footing, and then she had to take off all her warm clothes... in a blizzard! Communication was impossible and after just 3 jumps we decided it was just going to be too difficult...
So off we went home... and just because I always download my photos, I downloaded the 3 jumps, to find we had 1 perfect shot! We were both VERY excited!!
