So apparently, Khloe has a stunning leap, that should be put into a magazine, lol. Who knew the child could jump like this, & with such grace and poise!? NOT I.

Jumping spiders are generally diurnal, active hunters. Their well developed internal hydraulic system extends their limbs by altering the pressure of body fluid (blood) within them. This enables the spiders to jump without having large muscular legs like a grasshopper. The jumping spider can therefore routinely jump 20 to 60 or even up to 75 - 80 times its body length. When a jumping spider is moving from place to place, and especially just before it jumps, it tethers a filament of silk to where ever it is standing. Should it fall for one reason or another, it climbs back up the silk tether.
Jumping spiders are known for their curiosity. If approached by a human hand, instead of scuttling away to safety as most spiders do, the jumping spider will usually leap and turn to face the hand. Further approach may result in the spider jumping backwards while still eyeing the hand. The tiny creature will even raise its forelimbs and "hold its ground". Because of this contrast to other arachnids, the jumping spider is regarded as inquisitive as it is seemingly interested in whatever approaches it.

One of the first few jump shots I've attempted to capture. Continuous shutter on aperture priority. Very funny to see everyone's faces.
Amanda jumps in a big pile of leaves. OK, no comments allowed about how the leaves are being raked up and it's SPRING!!
The guys built a new jump today, E is testing it out.
My 12 year old son, Christian, actually went off this jump on the same bike, which I swear weighs more than Christian. It took him three tries before he landed it. I was beaming!! He did it a few more times, then moved on to another jump, on his own bike.
