On October 31st, I trade in my 1999 purple Saturn SL-1 to purchase a used 2013 Cayenne Red Nissan Juke. It was a sad day for me, but it was time for the change.

On voulait faire « hommes »

On était…

Alright, so since I got my Juke, I've wanted to make it out of lego. Unfortunately, the shape of the car is so insanely non-legoish, it's not easy to make a minifig-scaled version of the car. When I started this model, I started with the tail lights since the tail lights and the blinkers are the more recognizable parts of the car, and the tail lights are easier to make. I think the back looks okay, but I know the front it wrong. I got lazy and didn't really want to do the front correctly. There are 4 doors, and it can fit 2 minifigures.

-trunk opens

-all doors open

-roof comes off for easy access to minifigures

-wheels don't move so as to keep the model in one place...definitely not because I'm not good at wheels.

The model is 7 studs wide (the silver stud on the wheel makes it a bit wider), and so this car barely fits into my little city area that I'm currently working on/waiting for bricklink orders to arrive/too lazy to order stuff from bricklink.
