What's your opinion on the appearance of this vehicle by Nissan?

To be honest, when I first saw this design I thought that it appeared rather awkward. I've gotten more accustomed to seeing it now, but not to the point that I find it attractive. I simply cannot warm up to the high and pronounced fender bulges and the fender-top auxiliary lights

I can remember wanting to buy one of these when I was in my 20's. Thought it would be so cool in the my den. The $5,000 price tag kept me from doing so. Thank God!

The craze for SUV's and Crossovers seems to have gotten a little out of hand in recent years and its not a phenomenon which is likely to cool down anytime soon. The majority are either high end luxury vehicles or bland mainstream offerings with identikit styling and as much as I detest the pug ugly Juke it at least does stand out and thus has been a remarkable success for Nissan. Few toy makers seem to have cottoned on to this success but if one company can be relied on its Tomica who also produce this budget version for its Cool Drive range which I believe is only officially sold in certain Asian markets. They are clearly built to a price which is evident in its lack of opening parts, interior and plastic body but this is no Cheapo Chinese offering, its still a licensed casting and thus can be relied on to be at least realistic in its bulbous misshapen appearance and complete with appropriate levels of detailing to lights and badging. Bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.

We were overtaken by a Juke full of women in Jakarta :)

Being hit severely hard with an ugly stick hasn't done the Nissan Juke any harm at all, in fact it has been a huuuuge hit for them and the evidence being you see them everywhere here in the U.K.

To its credit it looks like no other crossover and that perhaps where a lot of its appeal lies as its getting very difficult buying a vehicle which stands out from the crowd these days and the Juke most certainly does just that! Its definitely no surprise to see it in the Tomica line up and although as yet I haven't plunged for the "standard" version my love of the cheap and cheerful has meant I managed to by a few of these Cool Drive derivatives recently. There are enough of the usual Tomica attributes here to keep me satisfied such as pleasant and accurate looking body and neat painted detailing, it just means this cut price version has to forgo its interior, metal body and suspension. Bought directly from China. Mint and boxed.

This is Logan and Juke. Logan is an 11-year-old boy who lives in Unalakleet Alaska and has autism. After a visit by musher DeeDee Jonrowe several years ago, he spoke one of his first words, "Miyagi" (the name of one of DeeDee's sled dogs). It became obvious how strong an impact dogs had on Logan, and the idea came up to get a service dog for Logan, a dog who could receive and give unconditional love and companionship. DeeDee organized a group of other mushers who tirelessly raised funds to get Logan a trained dog, from a group called 4 Paws for Ability in Ohio. Many people and companies pitched in, including Eagle Pack, a dog food company, and Northern Air Cargo, who flew Juke and the dog food to Unalakleet, which is many hundreds of miles from the nearest road.

When I was in Unalakleet, I had the good fortune to meet Juke the service dog, Logan, and his mother Donna walking down the street. Donna recounted to me how Juke has completely changed their lives.

A quick photo of a Nissan Juke we took for a test drive. I thought one car isn't quite enough so I shot it three times :)

Lightweight, highly mobile, and nearly silent, the Juke is the ideal powersuit for when stealth is required. By the time you can hear the telltale hiss of a Juke's 8MW irradiator, it is likely too late.

More info on the Juke can be found on the Brigador wiki.
