North Carolina artist Willie Little's recollections of the patrons of his father's illegal liquor house "Little's Grocery" provide a slice of rural life during the 1960s and 1970s.
Not taking "defeat" lightly, he puts his brim back on, & starts challeging more shorties. Man, gotta love his will to win...lol
Cedric Burnside and Steve "Lightnin'" Malcolm took their Hill Country sound to the Gulf Coast and brought the Boogie to Mobile.
This was a flyer I put together for a client, he wanted something 20's, 30's Harlem renaissance-ish. So this was my solution. I am happy with it. I mapped everything out in Illustrator, then finished it in Photoshop.
Had a wicked time at the TM Juke CD release party, featuring the incredible Alice Russell. It was difficult to leave the dancefloor - which is just how I like it.
