Old Jukebox at an antique place I went this morning. IF I did it right, (thank you...you know who you are who told me how) some of the music menu will follow. It is a working Jukebox, price is $850.00 I believe I remember. It was completely impossible to place myself advantageously. Too crowded with things in front of the machine, and only 3 or 4 feet of "backing up" IF-- until you smacked into a bunch of other things for sale. In this, I did what I could to capture it. That place was ultra crowded.
Juke Joint by Willie Little (from the Smithsonian's Arts and Industries building, September 24, 2003)
North Carolina artist Willie Little's recollections of the patrons of his father's illegal liquor house "Little's Grocery" provide a slice of rural life during the 1960s and 1970s.
