I’ve never seen until this one, a State agency using a Nissan Juke.
CalTrans is California’s Department of Transportation. Most motorists are familiar with the organization from seeing signage and their construction and maintenance equipment along freeways and highways in the state. Their workers are easy to spot, too because of their brightly colored and reflective safety clothing they wear while on the job.
I’ve never seen a Juke at the side of the freeway on a construction or maintenance project. It just doesn’t seem like the type of vehicle that CalTrans normally acquires for their fleet!

To be honest, when I first saw this design years ago I thought that it appeared rather awkward. I've gotten more accustomed to seeing it now, but not to the point that I find it attractive. I simply cannot warm up to the high and pronounced fender bulges and the fender-top auxiliary lights.

The boys found a jukebox for the tiki bar.

The jukebox is a holiday decoration, $20 at Walmart. It was easy to remove the back panel and replace the image in the window with a picture I printed out on plain paper.

The jukebox is slightly undersized and lacks realistic detail, but for the price it is adequate as a background prop for 1/6-scale (Barbie doll size) scenes. Plus, it lights up without the need for extra wiring.
