In the 4-H Table Setting Contest at the 2017 Lancaster County Super Fair, youth selected a theme and displayed one place setting, including table covering, dishes, glassware, silverware, centerpiece and menu. Youth chose one of the following categories: formal, casual, picnic or birthday.
During the contest, set up their table and have five minutes to present their table setting to a judge. After all judging is complete, the public is welcome to view the tables.

This car looked great but didn't have all the Judge attire. For instance no hood tach? Also the stripes are correct however they were printed on reflective vinyl which is good an bad. It stands out at night but a photography nightmare.

Judge Isaac Parker was the federal judge in Fort Smith Arkansas which had jurisdiction of the the Indian Territory which is today known as Oklahoma. While Judge Parker was known as the Hanging Judge and during his career he tried more than 13,000 cases and sentenced only 160 people to hang and of those only 79 were actually executed. Judge Parker suffered from Brights Disease and died on November 17, 1896 and is buried in the Fort Smith National Cemetery.

Winners of UK's biggest street music competition announced

Clarissa from Lewisham has been crowned Gigs Champion 2016, following a five month search to find the countries best busker. The singer beat acts from across the UK to take top honours in the Grand Final of Gigs, the UK's biggest street music competition. Gigs is the Mayor of London’s annual search for the best young musicians, London’s busiest locations were treated to over 800 live performances this summer. Today’s final at Westfield Stratford City saw 12 of them, as chosen by music industry insiders and the public, compete in two categories, before the overall winner was decided by the judging panel.
With over 500 matches played and more than 300 judging sessions on #NERD18, here's the top photos we've got from that day!

Hand painted Judge Dredd miniature. I painted this when I was 11 or 12 back in 1985/86 and I have kept him since.
