The twins are complete! Now I can twinsy photoshoots with these two. I love how they contrast each other, especially in their style, attitude and appearance. I can't resist and gave them matching moles.

Another SOOC shot , this time in a car park in Hastings . For some reason a load of gulls kept landing on the car roof and bonnet - maybe a fish cake and chips might have had something to do with it !!!! However , sitting in the driver's seat and having the Pano TZ60 to hand which was left in auto , the camera decided this was a back lit shot so it takes and merges two shots to merge exposures . So , when taking a gull on the bonnet and another one arrives during the exposures it results a bit like the arriving gull is a bit inter-dimensional !!!

I'd always enjoyed looking at older pictures of the joint Burlington - Illinois Central trackage between Portage & East Dubuque, Illinois. One area that was especially interesting was the split double track at the Sinsinawa River Bridges east of the station sign of "Menomenee".
An afternoon of Mississippi River foaming with Chris & Brian ended with a walk back into the river bridges with the promise of a westbound. We luckily only spent a short amount of time in that mosquito infested locale before netting a BNSF/IC haulage grain train. IC 6135 West was BNSF Train X-PEIEDU (Peoria to East Dubuque). At East Dubuque this train would be handed off to the IC for a trip across the Iowa Division and a refill of those grain hoppers.

Columnar jointing is a geological structure where sets of intersecting closely spaced fractures, referred to as joints, result in the formation of a regular array of polygonal prisms, or columns - Wikipedia. This fine example is found at the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland.

I like to create jointed figures. You can see my creations here: www.soniaverdu.es/p/bjd-art-doll.html I want to share this posable robot figurine with you. It features ball joints and some hinge-like joints. An elastic cord is used to secure the limbs and allow for positioning - no screws required! I hope you enjoy."
