The first technical-level meeting of the UN's Joint Justice and Corrections Programme (JJCP) kicked off in Mogadishu today, with representatives from Somalia's FGS and FMS Ministries of Justice sharing experiences on how the programme is helping increase access to justice for Somalis - as part of JJCP, the United Nations in Somalia supports Somali efforts to create accessible, accountable, and independent state justice institutions.
