Gone hiking today up the Mirnock 2.104 m.a.s.l. and near the highest cottage there was a dirty little pond where some dragonflies were flying around, which was really surprising cause I didn't expect to find dragonflies at this height?!

Titled XYoga Dubai, this festival is founded by Dubai Tourism and XDubai, with the aim of positioning Dubai as the leading destination for yoga in the region.Globally-recognized yogis will be offering classes in the full array of yoga styles, meditation and workshops, with opportunities for all, from complete beginners to yoga instructors and from children to pregnant ladies and athletes. .
The highlight of this festival is the biggest public yoga session of 2016 featuring Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty alongside world-renowned yoga guru Suneel Singh, which will be taking place on the first day of the event at 8am. Stay tuned for more updates!SUNEEL Yoga Guru Suneel Singh

....Day of the Dead. Today New Mexicans across the state celebrate Day of the Dead. Albuquerque celebrated, with 7000 people descending on the South Valley to join in or watch the Marigold Parade. This has to be one of the most spectacular parades so if ever you get the chance to celebrate the day of the dead do so! Don't be afraid to get dressed up and paint your face, you'll not be alone! Here's just a few of the hundreds of pics I took :)
Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration takes place around October 31, November 1 and November 2, (here in NM November 3 this year) in connection with the Christian triduum of Hallowmas: All Hallows' Eve, All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars called ofrendas honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts.
