"Heavenly Father, Help us remember that the jerk who cut us off in traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day and was rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry and spend a few precious moments with her children.
*Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19-year-old college student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his fear of not getting his student loans for next semester.
*Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum, begging for money in the same spot every day is a slave to addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares.
*Help us to remember that the old couple walking annoyingly slowly through the store aisles and blocking our shopping progress are savoring this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back last week, this will be the last year that they go shopping together.
*Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is LOVE. It is not enough to share that love with just those we hold dear. Open our hearts, not just to those who are close to us, but to everyone You put in our path. May we be slow to judge and quick to forgive, and be patient, kind, full of empathy and love." Anonymous
For we know that anything is possible and one day that we may be one of these people and would welcome kindness, understanding and patience. As You remind us in Your Word in Matthew 7:12, help us treat others the way we would like to be treated :) Amen

Lots of Good Food. Even chicken is on the menu at the 2014 Johns Pass Seafood Festival near Madeira Beach, Florida.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. 2. The punishment for sin is death: When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. (Romans 5:12 NLT)
3. Jesus is our only hope: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)
4. SALVATION is by GRACE through FAITH in JESUS: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT)
5. Accept Jesus and receive eternal life: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12 NLT) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12 NLT)

I took this photograph of a Brown Pelican from the Boardwalk, which runs West to East (Paralleling the Inlet) between the Businesses (aka: Souvenir Shops, Restaurants & other Tourist Shops) on the North Side and the Charter Boats, Jet Ski Rentals, Parasailing Boats, etc. (on the South Side) paralleling the Inlet.
I was standing on the Boardwalk at various points, in order to take photographs from a variety of angles along the length of the Boardwalk and the Inter-coastal Water Way.
The Scientific Name for the Brown Pelican is: Pelecanus occidentalis.
Johns Pass Village is a Tourist Area (aka: Resort Area) with Boat Rides, Jet Ski Rental, Charter Fishing Boats, Boat Rentals, Restaurants, Souvenir Shops, Pizzerias, Hotels & Motels, etc.
A good witch from the Witch-ee-poos of the Past Coven who was on hand to give out candy to the little ones at the Johns Pass Seafood Festival in Madeira Beach, Florida.

Not taken the same day as Treasure Island Sunset but actually a day or two later when we actually made it all the way down to the pass itself. And after I fiddled with the light/darken controls so it wasn't so dark.
