Banded Broadbill
The banded broadbill (Eurylaimus javanicus) is a species of bird in the Eurylaimidae family. It is found in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is a large broadbill (21.5–23 cm), with purple, yellow and black plumage. It eats predominantly insects, including grasshoppers, crickets, katydids, various beetles, caterpillars and larvae.
Status: Near Threatened
The Lesser Adjutant, a stork that apparently loves to sun itself regardless of the temperature, since I saw this exact same stance last time I went to the zoo when it was about twenty degrees cooler.
The small Asian mongoose (Herpestes javanicus) is a carnivorous mammal native to Southeast Asia. It has a slender body, short legs, and a pointed snout. Its fur is typically brown or gray, and it has a long, bushy tail. Agile and quick, it is known for its ability to hunt snakes and other small animals. It is an adaptable species and has been introduced to other regions to control pests.

爪哇野牛 Banteng (B. javanicus)
爪哇野牛,也称白臀野牛,因其四肢下端白色(这点与印度野牛别名白肢野牛相似),但臀部有一大块白斑,故得此名,栖息于南亚和东南亚的热带雨林可供隐蔽而较干燥和较开阔的地区,一般独居或2-3头同栖,有时会组成有20-30只的大群,喜昼伏夜出,以草、竹子、野果、树叶和树枝为食。爪哇野牛寿命20岁左右。爪哇野牛被世界自然保护联盟(IUCN)列为濒危物种,在过去的几十年里数量减少了约80%,野生爪哇野牛的总数估计在5,000 - 8,000只左右。虽然《国家重点保护野生动物名录》将爪哇野牛列为国家一级保护动物,但爪哇野牛中国还存在的可能性微乎其微,一是没有过活体影像,二是也没有没有得到过完整的标本记录。

Brown with black flecks, those on body and tail forming leopard-like spots. The largest moray.
Inhabits lagoon and seaward reefs, 1 to 46m. Common. Feeds primarily on fishes, occasionally on crustaceans. Normally docile and occasionally 'tamed' by dive guides, but has been implicated in unprovoked attacks and caused severe injury. Often ciguatoxic.
Ranges from Red Sea to Marquesas and Pitcairn, n. to Ryukyus and Hawaiian Is., s. to S. Africa; absent from Arabian Gulf and Oman.
