Jason Lavender Body Wash Bottles -Then and Now.
The bottle with the white plunger on the left was available up to maybe 2020 or 2021.
The bottle with the green plunger is the current bottle (2022-2023). It is slightly narrower and the pump screw cap is shorter than the older bottle.
I’m not sure when this style came out but stores were out of stock of both the hand cleaner and body wash during the major part of the pandemic. I like the older bottle better, the pump is much smoother acting and more soap comes out.
The new bottle has a new formula that is a thin, grey, watered down substance that has almost no foaming ability. There is virtually no scent, as well. There are hundreds of bad reviews on the new formula.
I like many will not be buying anymore bottles of the Body Wash.
Our stores no longer sell the Jasons Hand Soap which was in a smaller bottle and also very good prior to it disappearing in 2020.
An empty bottle I had in the basement was converted to Softsoap Hand Soap 5 years ago thats used in the kitchen.

I figured that October would be a good time to share my spooky/ghosty/Halloweenie Funko portraits. So, we're starting with Jason.
Jason Smith, age 36, runs in the San Diego International Triathlon, International distance, in the Elite/Pro Men division. Smith finished 31st overall out of 535 participants. His overall time was 01:44:41 with a swim time of 00:11:54, bike time of 00:47:40 and run time of 00:42:45.

I photographed the PGA Championship last week in Rochester, NY. This is a shot of of Jason Dufner teeing off on the 18 hole just minutes away from claiming his tournament victory on the 18th green.
South-East Hawthorne Boulevard is one of the funkiest places in Portland. One can meet so many original individuals and friendly people.
I was on my way to get a few items from the department store accompanied by my 20 months old granddaughter in her stroller. Passed by a young man standing in front of a beautiful wooden fence I decided to approach him. He seemed as if he was on a break, checking his iPhone or something like that.
"Hello," I greeted him, "would you mind if I made a photo of you?"
He said he wouldn't mind at all and asked what I wanted him to do.
"Nothing special," I said, "you're already standing in a perfect place for a portrait.
Jason has moved from California to Portland, Oregon and has been living here since some three years ago.
He is 39 y/o, has two jobs and appreciates life here.
"What would be your message to the world, Jason?" I wondered.
"Just be awesome!", he replied instantly.
"And what would be the words of advice to your younger self?"
"Don't do it!", he said firmly, "just don't do it !"
"What do you mean?", I asked.
"All of it, just don't do it!", he repeated with a hearty laughter.

Jason drove out to the exurbs on the south shore, with me riding along to translate, and picked up this titanium Dean from a French lady. It was decked out in boutique brands like Nukeproof, Chris King, etc, but is now just a functional winter single-speed (@ ~63 gear inches); it weighs almost nothing. ETA: By which I mean 24 lbs., including the studded Schwalbe winter tires.
