Salsa ranchera, sliced jalapeños, bacon, a bit of Kroger's shredded mixed pizza cheese to hold it all together, and pats of cream cheese on top

Found this when we were walking around San Jose del Cabo last month. Happy Friday everyone. Stay safe, happy and healthy

Aburi Sushi: chef's selection of Aburi Oshi, roll, and nigril sushi, Salmon Oshi Sushi: pressed BC wild sockeye salmon, jalapeno, Miku Sauce

Just bought this two. I wanted to eat them but first taking pictures :)

My heart pitter pattered something huge when I opened her <3 Oh could I not wait to get home today!

A Very Very Big Thanks to Irene <3

And a Special thanks To Vi for helping me name this hot lady!

I had a request to see one of my young chile plants as they grew up. This is a jalapeno plant, a cultivar that supposedly produces very large fruits. Here is one just starting out, at this point a bit less than an inch long. It has almost doubled in size in the week since I took this.

Special thanks to JNCapture.com for this beautiful photo.

Went out to look for some cigarettes and found this frame, a bunch of jalapeños there looking good and nice to take a shoot of them. Processed with VSCOcam with C1 preset

Jalapeño pepper slices - I got a great price on these, but way more than I can eat for now so they are going into the freezer. :-)

Had planned to do some more 8x10 shots today, but the windy conditions forced me to scale down to 4x5. This is a nice jalapeno fruit on one of the plants in the family's garden. It has a very deep purple-green tone that borders to almost pure black. Shot on Polaroid Type 55 film, this is a scan of the negative and there's a very decent b&w print as well.

The first challenge of 2016 is all about, new things. Trying or doing something new, photographing it, and telling how you liked it. (Or didn't like it!)

January 15 - Drink (alcoholic or not)

Fruity with a little kick. An interesting drink. I do have to say I like the combo of cranberries and jalapenos, but I would not be able to finish the whole thing as I am not a big fan of Tequila (though it was quite nice). Much obliged to my friend for the sample.

My 17 year old made jalapeno bread last weekend...this is the dough right after he added jalapeno and fresno peppers from the garden. This bread makes the best grilled cheese sandwich EVER!! And it bites back which is really awesome if you're into that sort of thing.

My son and I tried our hand at some jalapeno bread with a recipe that we made up on the fly...we agree it could use more brown sugar a couple more jalapenos but not bad for a first attempt. Bread with a kick...got to love it ;)

Organic free-range boneless, skinless chicken thighs and a crisp jalapeño.

I typically prefer dry rubs and spices to sauce with my BBQ.

Farmer's market Los Gatos, CA

My friend Matt learned to brew his own beer and brewed me up a special brew for my birthday. The special ingredient? Jalapenos! I must tell you, it was delicious. We sipped on it at the Salton Sea because it was hotter than Hades out there. Thank you, Mattie!!!!

I think this has been my best year ever for the Jalapeños - we have been eating them roasted for past few weeks and loads more to come. They have been much milder than previous years but I assume that is down to the source of the seeds.
