Jack Payne is one of the nation’s highest-ranking university administrators to come from the ranks of wildlife faculty. He has a Ph.D. in wildlife ecology and an M.S. in fisheries ecology, and he’s a tenured professor in the UF/IFAS Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation.
Jack began his academic career as a faculty member at Penn State University and then at Texas A&M. As soon as he got tenure, he promptly left academia to spend a decade at Ducks Unlimited as its national director of conservation, during which he expanded the organization’s Mexican program into Central and South America.
He has served in a vice president’s position at Utah State University and at Iowa State University. Since 2010, Jack has led the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences as UF’s senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources. With more than 4,000 faculty and staff, IFAS is a major part of the University of Florida. Besides agriculture, IFAS oversees all the fish and wildlife programs of the University.
He is a graduate of the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University.

"You know what I've always wanted? A trampoline! You think I can jump now...just watch out if I get my paws on one of those things. I have a feeling I could make it all the way up to the moon! Imagine that. Bandit the moon doggie. Has a nice ring to it, huh?"

the Kowa Six is a beautiful device, but very "awkward" ...
Always Mess-Baldix not far ....
But I wanted for more time to find a more compact device ... return to 35mm?
I had the opportunity to buy the Leica M3 with the Summitar, a legendary camera ....
So I cracked.
I'm not used to this unit (remove the lens cover ^ ^)
