I'm jealous, I'm overzealous
When I'm down, I get real down
When I'm high, I don't come down
I get angry, baby, believe me
I could love you just like that
And I could leave you just this fast

ID'd by Dr. Art Shapiro, UC Davis. "The blue is lit in a way that makes the hindwing ventral pattern difficult to make out, but I'm pretty sure it's a female Arrowhead Blue, Glaucopsyche piasus."
Ken Davenport (butterfliesandmoths.org) - same issue with angle of photograph, but accepted as probably arrowhead blue.

Dan, the Lilliputian strong man has been tricked by his friends, he happily volunteered to restock the bar with soft drinks but little did he know that the cans belonged to Lemuel Gulliver! He stands at one and a quarter inches and the cans are nearly half his height.

Zbonics - Issues of Life [2013] with Gregory Porter on vocals
Common Loon was stalking young Grebes. Loons & Grebes are very territorial. The Grebes will attack ducks, etc. and chase them out of their area. The Loons do the same to the Grebes. When they see a Grebe in their territory, they go very low and flatten out on the water. Then, they start stalking the Grebe. When they get close enough, they slide beneath the surface and attack from under water.
There were 3 Loons, all transients on the lake I was going to. This Loon spent the most time on that lake and got so used to me that on several occasions the raft drifted right up to it and brushed along side of it. It didn't seem the bother it at all. Doesn't take hardly any breeze to move the raft.
I often just sit in the raft for long periods of time not taking any pictures, just watching them while they are napping.
By doing that they learn to trust me.

Update on this photo: This photo appears in the July/August 2018 issue of Alaska Magazine. It is a two page spread. Unfortunately, the printed version doesn't do it justice.

Johnny Thunder just found a big hole in the ground. Is it a tunnel where pirates hid their treasure? Is it a secret passage to ancient castle? Is it someone's home, sweet home? Very giant someone, probably dangerous...
Oh wow, I took this picture one year ago, and yesterday was the last visit to that area to took the things I forgot and/or left intentionally on the day of moving. *sigh* I loved this place, I wish I wouldn't put off some of my plans to explore the area more. Two and a half years and never found spare money for a hot chocolate in the cafe across the street?! Two and a half years, but I found the most beautiful route in the forest only when I already knew I have to leave?! Two and a half years, but never walked my PC Lego car on those beautiful pavements?! Two and a half years, and still no picture of my giant T-Rex with a fence, because I never had time?! Oh, come on, I am a dictionary definition of delayed life syndrome!
Anyway, I saw that hole in the forest. I think a mouse lives there, I hope it wasn't too stressed out because a curious human shined a flashlight in the hallway. xD Well, their tunnels are long and complicated, so it probably didn't even saw the light, but it probably heard my footsteps above.
I wanted to show Johnny's face, but the soil was too soft and it was tricky enough to place him and avoid falling down...
P.S.
IMPORTANT QUESTION -
Do you see my pictures in your activity feed or in the groups only? Or do you check my profile specifically (like I do with others)?
It seems there is an issue with my pictures in the feeds since July, I contacted the support and they did something, I need to know if the issue is resolved or is it still there. Thanks in advance!
