Thatcher at work, Maulden, Bedfordshire, 21 Apr 2020
Thatchers are solitary people. I don't think I have ever seen two working together.
During this time of self isolating and quarantine, let's spend time reconnecting with ourselves. Practice some self-care. Thinking about all those who are out working and not able to stay home. Your work is truly appreciated. <3 <3
Saturday Self Challenge - Indoor still life.
We are now in lockdown, apart from going shopping and going for a daily walk (exercise) . Something we'll be doing more of is watching TV and DVDs.
Die Witterung hat diesem Eigenbau-Isolator (am Weidezaun) wohl fast seine Funktion genommen.
INSULATOR
The weather has probably deprived this self-made insulator (an electric fence) of its function.

A view inside the radiator compartment of a Class 68 locomotive taken through the large body-side radiator grill.
I always find it fascinating to see such components and the precision engineering that goes into them.
On the left we see the ‘PistonSupply-Eco’ oil free compressor that provides air for several systems including braking, coach air suspension, locomotive horns and sanding equipment. Above that is an ‘air dryer’ system, any help in identifying the particular model would be appreciated. All of the equipment is manufactured by Knorr-Bremse.
On the right we have ‘Auxiliary Panel 2’: the red switches are isolating cocks for damper positions (left two) then horn (high tone), horn (low tone).
The main brake panel is out of sight at the other end and of the locomotive.

I would normally be travelling into London with the camera but at this moment in time the world is a very different place.
In the UK we now have a Lock down which means we stay indoors as much as possible and only really go out for essential food etc. So I have set myself a photo challenge to try and take a photo from around the house or garden to try and take up some time while we isolate.
Please stay safe everyone and with some will power we can beat this and hopefully return to our normal lives as soon as possible.
Bee-okeh Happy Wednesday. Or Happy Bee-okeh Wednesday? :P
(Behind-the-scene: It was a rather chilly day in early November. Fall was awash all across the idlewilds of South Louisiana. I saw this buzzer as I was "hunting" for macro subjects. Out in the bush. For a full fat moment we stood there, just stood there... gazing at each other. I was wary about these kinds of buzzers because I remember with pain being stung right between my eyes, smack in the forehead. And dang, it hurt!!! So we just gazed at each other, for a long while. Until, when I realized and "felt" "safe" he wasn't going to be a threat I trained Lucio at him. He allowed me free rein on a lot of angles. This came out to be best. Ahhh, A buzzer portrait on a chilly November day.)

This photo isolates the lower "staircase" section of Eastatoe Falls. One stop made with my friend, Jean, was visiting NC. We were rewarded with great conditions and lots of colorful leaves.

No, he is probably scanning the ground for food, seen on my chimney pot.
MY THANKS TO ALL WHO VISIT AND COMMENT IT IS APPRECIATED
I read this quote on social media yesterday
" some joker got so close to me in the DIY store I wanted to tear his face off!!!!"
So this is my photographic response. Stay safe everyone. No clowns were harmed in the making of this image, I decided it might be a bit too dark to add fake blood!

Managed to isolate this one from the others, was easy to do since many of the crocuses yet to bloom,
They have been there for over 30 years and doing great, 2 years ago I planted smaller ones on a different flowered those came up first, could be the soil or the variety of the flower,
Happy Sunday everyone.
