Shot in 2016, this is the same sign as my previous photo (linked below), just shot at night and from the other side. I would have preferred to have taken lots of shots of this sign at night, but when we pulled up, with the windows down, we could hear a loud fight going on. Not wanting to call attention to myself in what might have been an uncomfortable situation, I shot quickly without getting out of the car and off we drove.

LOL

An old man by a seashore at the end of days

Gazes the horizon with seawinds in his face

Tempest-tossed silence

And seasons all the same

Anchorage unpainted

And a ship without a name

maybe you already saw it; I changed the name in the photo from Linee into Eline, my real name. I think it's more personal in that way. At least it more personal for me to use my own name.

and still I'm very sorry for not being around that much, I were so busy this week, and I really needed some time for myself, in the weekend I'll be around.

Having just been on a short holiday to the Channel Islands I thought it appropriate to post this image of a vintage bus from the island of Jersey.

Originally built just after the war in 1948 by Morris and to the islands statutory 7ft 6ins wide body, Jersey Motor Transport OSJ 512 is seen here in the grounds of the Imperial War Museum at Duxford during Showbus 2012. Sunday 16th September 2012.

Of note it's destination blind is showing L'Etacq where during late March I actually caught a bus to, although the route is now worked by Optare Solos - I'll make let you make your mind up which is more attractive!

ARRIVA Buses Wales DAF DB250 / EL Lowlander 4189 - Y704 XJF passes through Menai Bridge on the Isle of Anglesey working route 62C from Bangor to Amlwch. I have always had a soft spot for this place as my mum's family came from here.
