The community enjoyed international food, dance and music during the 38th annual International Folk Festival at Festival Park in downtown Fayetteville, Sunday. The two-day event included a parade of nations on Saturday and performances from international musicians throughout both days. The 82nd Airborne Division Band entertained the crowd with two different performances - rock and fusion music on Saturday and jazz music on Sunday. Crowds enjoyed food from over 30 countries prepared by local residents from around the world.

Monument in memory of the American Airborne troops of D-day

A Veterans Day parade was held in Downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, Saturday. Military units from Fort Bragg were among the more than 100 groups that marched down Hay street.

Protection Course, at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School's JFK

Auditorium, July 12. This course is intended as a master's-level program for USASOC's protection

professionals, while also serving to renew the certificates for those who needed it.

As the dust settled in the ‘Lightning Brigade’s footprint after several hours of physically and mentally exhausting events, the winning team of the winter ‘Lightning Games’ was recognized in a formation Feb. 11, at the Lightning softball field complex.
