The number one ranked team from the 50th Signal Bn. had an eleven and one record going into the Feb 2 2017 game with the men of HHC 2- 325. HHC was ranked number three but had just come off a 70 point game. In a fight to the end finally decided by free throws the final score the 50th Signal Bn. wins 55 – 52

The 28th Combat Support Hospital Soldiers and their Families gathered at the Pope Family Readiness Group Conference Center for the “One Book at a Time” educational workshop, Sept. 11. The purpose of this ongoing workshop is to learn about the education requirements and opportunities that are available and how to use them to receive maximum benefit.

Pvt. First Class Sergio Martinez, SWCS, is taking the trip of the lifetime. Martinez won two tickets and accomidations to this year's Super Bowl, courtesy of the ASYMCA and Prilosec OTC. Martinez, who is taking his brother with him to his Super Bowl seats, says he is a number one Raider fan, but My second top team is the Panthers. Martinez said he had never been to a Super Bowl, or a pro league sports game before. I hope the Panthers win said Martinez. I think it's going to be a close game, though.

Families from Fort Bragg and the surrounding area come together at Wilson Park for the second annual Ducks Unlimited Greenwing Event on May 2. Parents assisted their children in a fishing competition at McFadden Pond and a round robin where they learned about the outdoors. They were treated to the different wild life around North Carolina, duck box building, duck call and more. The idea of the Ducks Unlimited Greenwing Event is creating sportsmen for tomorrow.
