For whatever reason, the local zoo has a "free" silk spider living under the roof of the butterfly house. After shooting another butterfly, I looked up and saw this butterfly struggling to get out of the net while the spider was waiting ...

I like this photo as it looks a bit different than the other (rather stereotypical) cute shots.

I decided to eat very healthily this year. I began by making myself a cast-iron fried egg, bacon, cheese and home-grown tomato sandy. Don't forget the tapatio.

 

Two things to note:

 

1) I still have plentiful tomatoes on vine, and yet it will be time to plant a new vine soon.

 

2) Until I determine where I stashed my card reader, safe to assume every photo uploaded these days is coming from the iPhone 3GS. Carry on.

Some trees in the nearby woods were marked for some months now. Recently, the marked ones were finally cut down. Compare to this picture.

Yes, this is how I spent my afternoon, spurred on by the headache from yesterday.
